Phil Guy (1940 –2008) was an American blues guitarist, renowned for his collaborations with brother Buddy Guy and blues icon Junior Wells. Born in Louisiana, he later moved to Chicago, where he thrived in the blues scene. Branching into soul and funk, he left a lasting legacy in music, immortalized in recordings and films like Festival Express. He passed away from prostate cancer in 2008. ... more
